Love

1st Corinthians 13:1-4
13 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate.

2 If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing.

3-4 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.

As I said yesterday I am going to be talking about my singing and dancing today. I hope soon to start posting some of my originals and covers on facebook for my friends and family to hear. I have been working on my singing voice for many years and I thought I had it all figured out. Until, I went to Winter Jam back in March. When, I saw how much the artists really got into the songs and poured their hearts out for the lord. I realized that there was something that was missing from my music. I realized that I was it for myself, not for Yahweh and his kingdom. It wasn't until I heard the song The Proof Of Your Love by for King & Country that I realized that what I need to add to my music was love. Love for Yahweh. Love for his kingdom. And, love for the life he has given me. Since hearing this song live I have way more passion for my music and my dancing. I loved dancing before, but I was doing for the show of it. And, one day during one of the songs I realized that my heart wasn't in it. I knew that I wasn't doing it for the right reasons, but I didn't know how to fix it. So, I went on trying to dance, but it was so hard to get into the songs. After, hearing this song I knew what I had to do. And, since then I have been so much happier. My dancing is now for him and everything he is doing through me and for me.

Little Bit of Everything and Little Red Wasp

L is for A Little Bit of Everything a Home Free cover and Little Red Wasp a restaurant in Fort Worth, Texas. I know what you're thinking what does a restaurant in Texas have to do with Home Free. Well it doesn't have to do with the group, but a member of the group. I have an aunt and uncle that live in Fort Worth and the last time I went to visit them we ate Little Red Wasp. I found out Sunday that Tim Foust ate there earlier that day. I'm sooooo giddy. I mean less than a year later he ate at the restaurant as I did. It's like we were there together. Maybe even on a date. Anyway back to the song for today. A Little Bit of Everything is by Keith Urban. This another one of those songs where I like the original too. My favorite parts are the guitar sounds that Austin makes and the Foust wiggle in the middle. If you don't know what a Foust wiggle is then you need to watch the video below. Watch for tim's solo toward the end of the song and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Lilly

Xander on Left, Lilly on Right

Lilly is my second cousin on my dad's side. Lilly and My brother Xander get along well. They get along so well that when they are together it sounds like a freight train just went through the middle of my house. Lilly is 4 going on thirteen. Apart from being as smart as a thirteen year old. She has the attitude of a teenager. Lilly is usually pretty quiet, but as I said when her and Xander get together not quiet. Lilly is so quiet that I once forgot she was at our house. So in our kid version of Home Free she is Adam Rupp the beat boxer. Because according to Home Free Adam is very Quiet. The other members of my family make up the remaining four members of the band. My sister is Chris Rupp, my brother is Tim Foust, Xander is Rob Lundquist, and I am Austin Brown. I went off on a rabbit trail didn't I. Sorry. Okay we were taking about Lilly. Lilly is a beautiful intelligent child, but talks way too soft and way too fast. It is very hard to understand her sometimes. Well I have things to do.  As much as I would love to stay and talk longer I have top go. See ya next time on Inside the Drama.
